From Consideration to Confidence to Rest

… blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord.Jeremiah 17:5,7

True rest, deep, soul-level rest, is impossible without confidence. And not just confidence in yourself, but in Someone greater. Confidence in the One who made the sky and filled it with stars… who told the tide where to stop and painted purpose into every leaf, every feather, every breath. Confidence that whispers, If He did all that with such care and precision… surely, He hasn’t forgotten me.

The next few articles are about that kind of confidence—the kind of confidence born from consideration not circumstances. When you take a step back and consider His ways… when you look at the bees, the trees, the stars, and even slimey mould…(yep we’re going to get that soon enough) something shifts inside. You realize that rest doesn’t begin when everything in life is fixed; it begins when your trust is rightly placed.

Let’s take walk through the created world to see the order, wisdom, and intentionality of God. Then we’ll zoom in on you. Your design. Your calling. Your Creator’s care for every detail of your life. Because when you truly grasp that you were not just created, but kept, you’ll find yourself exhaling the fear, the pressure, the striving… and stepping into rest.

So let’s begin, because this kind of confidence isn’t just possible. It’s promised. And it leads you straight into the arms of rest.
